Helen
Salon Manager | Director
I’m passionate and very enthusiastic about my work. I love change and always encourage clients to work with their skin tone and face shape. This is what makes me so excited about working with new clients and loyal clients and I just love seeing them walk out feeling like a million dollars.
I have taken part in the Fellowship for British Hairdressing exclusive course – Project X. Dubbed ‘the finishing school of hairdressing’ this enabled me to spend the year meeting industry peers, gaining experience with leading professionals and learning new skills and techniques.
I’m also proud to have trained students around the UK on the Essential Cutting Course at the Wella Studios in London and Manchester for a running of three years.
One of my hardest and challenging moments was completing a Wella Master Colour Expert programme. This is classed extremely high in the Hairdressing industry. It’s allowed me to be the best of the best at colour correction work.
The highlight of my creative work has been driving the KH Hair Creative Team. I’ve had the most amazing experience and very lucky to be part of winning British Hairdressing awards for our region.
Turning a new path in my career, I left the Creative Team after more than eight years to focus my time and energy on both my role as salon manager and on my clients.
I’ve completed a 12 week course on dementia. This has really helped me to have a deeper understanding of the condition. It’s also really helped me to give my clients who suffer from the illness the best experience in the salon.
